The German Genealogy Group, which meets in Nassau County, has recently added more records to its New York City vital records indexes.
The group added 960 records the the brides database for Kings County for the year 1867 that were missing from the original index. It also made corrections to 191 grooms entries for the same county and year.
In addition, another 540 records to the New York City Bronx births that were missing from the original index were added and corrections were made to 548 Bronx birth records.
The records are not just for those of German ethnicity.
