Another meeting of interest the genealogists will take place on Thursday, Aug. 24.  The topic will be “Newspapers: Above the Fold – Your Ancestors in the News.”

The museum is located at 9824 Route 16 in Machias. The talk will take place at 7 p.m.  and  be held under a tent on the museum lawn – rain or shine – and is free and open to the public.
