Back by popular demand, The Ilion Free Public Library (Herkimer County) will sponsor a walking tour of the Armory Hill Cemetery on Thursday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m. Meet at the Benedict Avenue entrance.
The tour, Ghastly Graves 2, is part of Ilion Days. Join us for another night of visiting victims’ and perpetrators’ graves of Ilion’s ghastly acts from the past. Full of murder, mayhem, and mystery, these detailed stories will also put the incidents into historical context.
For those interested in more information about the cemetery, the Ilion Free Public Library has Armory Hill cemetery records from 1904-2017 in its Local History Room.
