There will be several walking tours of two Buffalo area cemeteries in July and August.
Concordia Cemetery, located in Buffalo, was founded in 1859 and is one of the oldest cemeteries in Western New York. After being abandoned in 2001, the cemetery is now maintained by a group of volunteers. The tour will share the history of the cemetery and the stories of some of the famous individuals and families buried there. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. Upcoming dates are:

Holy Cross Cemetery, located in Lackawanna, is known as the final resting place for the many Irish immigrants that settled in Buffalo. Hear their stories and see the beautiful carved monuments that mark their graves while strolling through the shaded areas of this historic cemetery.
The tour will be offered on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. The cost is $18 general admission and $8 for children and students.
