The Rochester Genealogical Society is seeking family history “posters” for its May 21, 2024 meeting.
Those interested should respond by March 1. Twenty-five people will be selected to display their work as a tri-fold poster board. The club will provide the table to stand it on. It’s a great way to talk about your family history to other like-minded people and it’s also a great way to learn from others.
Some topic ideas include:
*Your go-to genealogy resources and tools
*Detailed research on an individual or family
*Experiences from genealogical trips or family reunions
*Military service records or society affiliations (SAR/DAR)
*Studies of specific locations or archival projects
