The Mount Hope Cemetery, located in Rochester, has two volunteer events scheduled in May.
Second Saturday Volunteer Landscaping – Saturday, May 11 – 8:45 – 11 a.m.
Help beautify Mount Hope Cemetery. Activities include raking leaves, weeding, mulching and performing other general landscape maintenance. Events are held rain or shine, so please dress appropriately. This activity will continue throughout the summer.
Day of Caring – Thursday, May 23 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The City of Rochester welcomes volunteers to join city workers to perform outside work in the cemetery. Lunch is provided.
