Genealogy federation to host tour of Levittown Historical Society

The Genealogy Federation of Long Island will be hosting a free tour and presentation at the Levittown Historical Society and Museum on Wednesday, July 17 and Friday,  July 26.

Hear about the transformation of Levittown from a Long Island rural farming community to the largest suburbia in the United States. The museum is a mid-20th century gem of artifacts and memorabilia.

The museum is located at the Memorial Education Center, 150 Abbey Lane in Levittown. You can see more about the Society on their Facebook page at: https://m.facebook.com/100064778766428/

The tour on July 17 is from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and the tour on July 26 is from 7-9 p.m. Sign up for the tour and presentation by sending an email to GFLIPrograms@gmail.com with your name. Open to all.
