The Italian Genealogy Group, based on Long Island, will host its first virtual conference, “Italian Genealogy: The Boot and Beyond,” on Saturday. Nov. 16 from 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Eastern time.
There will be watch parties in Manhattan and Long Island.
Opening keynote speaker will be Ange Coniglio and the closing plenary speaker at will be Suzanne Russo Adams. The lunchtime lecture will be “Italian Parish Records,” presented by Suzie Greco.
Four live-stream lectures will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 4:45 pm featuring Luca de Pascale, Frank Francone, Victoria Calabrese, Ph.D., and Daniel Horowitz of MyHeritage.com
Included in the cost of the conference will be 18 on-demand (pre-recorded) lectures featuring the following speakers:
