NY genealogy society to offer free scanning sessions in April

During April, the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society invites those in the New York City area to come in person to its Digitization Center for a 30-minute session to digitally preserve your own records for free, using the Copibook scanner.

Staff will guide you through the image capture and editing technologies. Participants will receive a free external drive that contains their own archivable, high-resolution digital files to take home. This is a free event but registration is required.

Monday, April 7  – 2 to 5 p.m.

Monday, April 14 – 3 to 6 p.m.

Monday, April 21 – 2 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, April 28 – 2 to 5  p.m.
