The German Genealogy Group, based in New York, recently completed a project which added 102,146 records to the New York City 1866-1909 Kings Birth Index which can be found on the German Genealogy Group website.
In addition, 4,322 corrections were made to the index. This project was started in June 2023 and involved the work of over two dozen volunteers. The group has also added church records this year as well as records to the Bronx Birth Index.
