New York State Library offers in person tours in February

The New York State Library will be offering two onsite walking tours of its genealogy collections in February.

The tours will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. to noon  and Friday, February 28 from noon to 1 p.m.

The New York State Library is a treasure chest of resources for those tracing their family histories. This onsite tour will highlight published genealogies, local histories, church records, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) records, United States and New York State Census records, newspapers on microfilm, city directories and more.

The tour is limited to 10 individuals and registration is required.
