Friends of Lakeview Cemeteries will hold its first clean-up day of the year on Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m.
Volunteers will help pick up leaves, litter and tree limbs. Help is also needed to place tarps to battle invasive plants. Wear work shoes and gloves, bring tools if you have them, or borrow them.
The Friends of Lakeview Cemeteries maintains five historic cemeteries at West Main Street and Waverly Avenue in Patchogue Village.
